The symptoms of a panic attack are described by one expert as a "discrete period of intense fear or discomfort in which four (or more) of the following symptoms developed abruptly and reached a peak within ten minutes. palpitations, pounding heart or accelerated heart rate, sweating, trembling or shaking, sensations of shortness of breath or smothering, feeling of chocking, chest pain or discomfort, nausea or abdominal distress, feeling dizzy, unsteady, light headedness or faint, Derealisation or depersonalisation, fear of losing control or going crazy, fear of dying, numbness or tingling sensations, chills or hot flushes."
Those that have suffered with the malady may be able to expand on those definitions. Even though considered relatively harmless, those that have to deal with the acute anxiety feel the syndrome warrants a heavier definition than "harmless."
There are many causes of this condition but drug use is one primary cause. The remedy for this cause is simply to break the habit. However, many have done that but for them the damage has already been done and further help is needed in combating this disease.
When doing your research, you can find as many methods of cure as one can imagine. In many cases even shamans have been summoned by those that believe in astrological cures. Others employ psychologists and other mainstream professionals.
I could go on and on but you already get my meaning. One authority I've found definitely worth the read on the subject is international acclaimed anxiety coach Joe Barry. It is a lengthy article but as I mentioned before, it is definitely worth the effort. Just click here.
If you are impatient to find the remedy and have heard enough then just plow ahead and go here.
Well, that's all I have for today. My sincere wish is that you have found this article helpful.
Be Blessed,
John
